PANTHEON FOR CREATIVE STRATEGISTS

From a saved reference to a reason to test.

Pantheon helps creative strategists move from competitor and hook research to original, editable video ads. Keep the strategic judgment with your team: define the audience problem, identify the creative pattern and decide what the test should reveal. Use generation and natural-language editing to explore the idea without losing the original brief.

THE CREATIVE STRATEGY

Name the mechanism before you borrow the format.

A compelling competitor ad can be useful without revealing why it works. Separate the opening, promise, proof, pacing and call to action. Then decide which mechanism is relevant to your app. A dramatic reveal may fit an editor; a short product walkthrough may fit a task-based utility. The reference is evidence of a visible creative approach, not verified evidence of the competitor’s profit.

Write the hypothesis in terms someone else can challenge. For example, “Showing the original input will make the transformation easier to believe” is more useful than “Make this more engaging.” It gives production a direction and gives UA a variable to evaluate. Keep product claims, audience assumptions and asset rights in the brief so that speed does not make the concept less accurate.

Use the editable composition to refine the idea. Change the opening text, adjust voice or pacing, or replace a scene while preserving the question being tested. When multiple parts change, document them. A beautiful new version can make it harder to interpret a test if its offer, opening and destination all differ at once. Finish with a reviewable rationale as well as an approved video.

A MORE USEFUL HANDOFF

Change how the work moves.

Keep the research, rationale and final creative connected so the next person can make a clear decision.

01

Before: a board full of inspiration

Saved ads accumulate without a clear reason to use them. Group references by the job their opening performs, not just by visual style or competitor name.

02

After: a pattern with a purpose

Choose a reveal, objection, demonstration or comparison because it supports a specific product benefit. State what the audience should understand after seeing the opening.

03

Before: feedback that changes everything

Broad notes create a new concept on every revision. Identify the layer and intended effect, then describe a targeted edit while keeping the core hypothesis visible.

04

After: a handoff with a question

Deliver the approved video with its control, changed element and intended learning. Let the performance review inform the next brief rather than retrofitting a story to results.

WITH PANTHEON

Give the week a clear rhythm.

  1. 01

    Collect around a question

Use competitor intelligence and hook discovery for a defined app, market and positioning angle. Select a small set of references and explain the pattern that makes each one relevant.

  2. 02

    Write the concept

Turn the pattern into an original script and scene idea for your product. Use hook generation to explore openings, then choose a coherent direction rather than combining every suggestion.

  3. 03

    Produce and refine

Create a new ad or use Ad Clone as a reference-led starting point. Inspect the composition in X-Ray and use Vibe Edit for specific changes to text, voice, assets or layout.

  4. 04

    Close the feedback loop

Hand the approved creative and hypothesis to the campaign owner. Review the measured result with its context, record what remains uncertain and use that learning to select the next concept.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Creative Strategists: the practical details.

Can I start from my own creative brief?

Yes. Start from your idea and approved product materials rather than relying on a competitor reference. Make the target job, message and intended test clear. Pantheon can help generate a creative and refine it through Vibe Edit, while your team reviews whether the result follows the brief and represents the product accurately.

#

Does competitor research reveal which ads are profitable?

No. Public creative signals do not establish a competitor’s spend, conversions or profitability. Use visible patterns, relevance and timing to prioritize research, then test your own original concept. Ad longevity may be a useful observation, but it should not be described as verified proof of a winning business outcome.

#

Can I edit a single scene without rebuilding the whole ad?

Pantheon ads are layered compositions. X-Ray can identify a specific item, and Vibe Edit can apply a natural-language request to that target. The affected layers determine what needs to be regenerated. Review the resulting version; the exact cost depends on the work performed rather than a flat editing price.

#

How should I turn a trend into an app ad?

Identify the attention pattern and ask whether it helps explain a real product benefit. Rebuild the concept with your own assets and claims instead of copying the original post. A trend’s popularity does not prove conversion value, so define a testable hypothesis and compare the result with an appropriate control.
